Description

The workshop focused on discussion of current research topics in simulatoin based design. Further topics included the different processes for mechatronic design and product development and the discussion how to address a possible consolidation of all the different approaches. Participants were affiliated with the Institute of Mechatronic Design and Production (IMDP) of the JKU Linz with the Institute of Virtual Product Development at the Technical University Kaiserslautern and SIEMENS Corporate Technology.
