Abstract

High precision engine combustion pressure measurement, as used for advanced engine control, drives momentary measurement technology’s capabilities to its limits. High temperatures with huge temperature swings, high pressures, extremely high accelerations and the harsh electro-magnetic environment present on heavy duty industrial gas engines cause difficult technical challenges.
