Tourism Information System OÖ: Market Survey & General Concept for a Tourism Information System

In cooperation with "Oberösterreich Tourismus Technologie GmbH" an information system for administrating and publishing tourism related information is designed. The purpose of this project is to create an interoperable tourism information management system that partially integrates previously existing and new software and that facilitates an efficient, central information system to be used by actual as well as future-oriented communication channels. System partners are businesses, tourism offices, regions, and national tourism organizations. FAW is involved in * specifying the requirements concerning the tourism information system, * the conceptual design of the information system, * and the evaluation of existing tourism information system and various application service providers.
