RIO - Netzwerk Design und Medien

The goal of "RIO - Design und Medien" was the development of a network on design and media in Upper Austria, to strengthen and to position Upper Austrian design - especially industrial design - in a given market. Competences in the field of design had been improved by organising events to create a higher awareness towards (economical) advantages of design, practical-oriented qualification and exchange of experiences. Different projects have been initiated in the framework of "RIO - Design und Medien". In the meantime this network has grown over the limits of Upper Austria and is going to be continued till at least 2010.
