Future-Oriented Sensemaking of Technological Change during Interorganizational Strategizing

This project focuses on sensemaking processes and specifically on how actors from diverse, multi-sectoral backgrounds make sense of emerging technologies during interorganizational strategizing. Stated more specifically, this research tries to answer the question of how, in groups made up of actors from diverse industry backgrounds, individuals make sense of technological changes prospected to happen in the future, and how the setting of interorganizational strategizing enables actors to create technological frames necessary for interpreting their environment.
