Design and evaluation of a low cost and compact electromagnetically direct actuated hydraulic power pack

Double acting hydraulic power packs combine the simplicity of an electromagnetic actuator at the interface and the power of an hydraulic system. The investigated electromagnetically direct actuated approach offers a new solution which can reduce the complexity of the mechanical layout, integrates additional functionality and solves issues of conventional systems with a new conceptual approach.
