Decentralized Forms Of Organizing (DFO): Dissertation Project

This dissertation is a comprehensive exploration of Decentralized Forms of Organizing (DFO), presented in three interrelated papers. The first paper is a literature review, offering a holistic overview of existing research in the field of DFO. The second paper presents an empirical study focusing on a holacratic organization — a unique form of DFO — examining its dynamic evolution over time. The third paper undertakes a comparative analysis, juxtaposing the holacratic organization against a more traditional, centralized firm with a particular emphasis on their approaches to innovation management.
