Das Institut für Design und Regelung mechatronischer Systeme beschäftigt sich in Forschung und Lehre auf folgenden Gebieten:
Design, Analyse und Regelung mechatronischer Systeme; datenbasierte Modellbildung, insbesondere Parameterschätzverfahren für lineare und nichtlineare Systeme, Regelverfahren für mechatronische System, v.a adaptive, prädiktive und inverse Regler; Systemtheorie; Automotive Control; Fault Detection und Isolation
