The increasing share of services enabled by the advancement of digital technologies has led us to product-service systems (PSS) as an integrated bundle of products and services. PSS development necessitates a large variety of teams, skills, and technologies. Such heterogeneity introduces inherent conflicting situations that are prevalent in every PSS development. This dissertation aims to increase our understanding of the conflicts in nowadays’ PSS development and show directions for solutions. The results contribute to research on PSS and conflict management. For practice, insights can guide firms to cope with conflicts in PSS development.
