Beschreibung

Conductivity measurements are used in many environmental and industrial applications such as water quality testing, concentration measurements and chemical reaction monitoring. The latter can be a challenging task, especially when high accuracy and robustness of the measurement device are required. Using a cell that was designed for accurate conductivity measurements of corrosive ionic media, we demonstrate in this work that our setup allows in-situ monitoring of crystallization reactions, in our case the formation of zeolites from highly alkaline solutions. Furthermore, we show that the recorded conductivity data compares to isothermal crystallization lines, allowing us to directly assess the crystallization behavior
